I cannot explain the slow, creeping fingers of under-lying fear that is beginning to permeate my office. One of our admin assistants is literally shaking while the poor thing tries to type letters.

One of the workers here mentioned to me that his mother refuses to believe the warnings. She thinks it is totally impossible for "Ivan" to happen again. She literally has her fingers in her ears, humming "La La La La La" loudly to block out any weather talk.

Will be back in touch soon; storm-blogging all the way!

it must be traumatic for any Grenadian to contemplate facing another hurricane so soon.I already shuddering at the sight of my phone bill because I was on the phone non stop with my friend in Grenada.
